When you use a Sheikah Stone, does the background music stutter and crackle for anyone else?

Just want to know if it's a common glitch, a hardware problem (I'm playing on the old 3DS XL) or a corrupted Game Card.

I haven't played my 3DS version of OOT in a minute, but there was talk on reddit about how people experienced problems with the game after updating their 3DS.

Due to certain security kernels the latest 3DS firmware implemented (designed to prevent Homebrew and other hacks), the old 3DS is going to have issues running OoT 3D, most notably lag/latency issues. <.<;
