Which is the best game ever? Skylanders Imaginators, or Legend of Zelda Ocarina of Time?

Sigh. Imaginators isn't even the best Skylanders game.

Right, because it's clearly one of the two, because those are the only options for best game ever. Since I don't really like the zelda series, I guess that automatically means my favorite game of all time is Imaginators (it's not).

i know its just a joke but i honestly have to give it some credit. there have been much much worse games out there its just the ET game was made popular from the movie. there is actually a really cool documentary about it where they talk about the game and go after the atarii graveyard that was in a dump. worth a look if ytou are into video game history.

Ok so I guess I should have worded it "which one is better?" I feel silly now.

I was an avid game back in the day and mostly stopped because of career/family. I quit after Ocarina of Time. So my nephew introduces me to Skylanders in 2012 and I'm hooked. I've collected over 300 figures since. What limited time I have to play video games, I've devoted to Skylanders.

I just noticed similarities between OoT and SI like some open world, search for hidden items, a good balance between puzzle and action, etc. and remembered how Nintendo Power magazine rated OoT the best game of all time. They are both my favorite games.

Tbh, I've never played most of the other games you guys mentioned. I just thought some other users might also hold these two games in high regard and wondered which one you thought was better.

Wishblade, we're listing bad games. SI and OOT are apples and oranges so it's still not a good comparison.

And honestly, OoT. As people said, SI isn't even the best Skylanders game, and trying to compare them in the matters of open world is odd at best.

As much as I love Imaginators, and personally consider it to be among the best entries of this series (if not the best), I have no doubts saying Ocarina of Time.

I don't know how to explain what I felt when I played it on my 3DS, except that I felt like I had the History of videogames in my hand.
I sincerely felt like I was trying a milestone, a game which changed the industry forever, a true Classic.
I hardly felt that way with any other old title.

Toys to Life can be consider a revolution of gaming on their own, but Imaginators itself isn't.

Honestly, I wonder how many people other than you and me here actually played Bubsy 3D. For the time, being one of the first real attempts at a 3D platformer on the original PlayStation, it actually wasn't terrible.

By today's standards, on the other hand... yeah, pretty friggin bad.

I was just playing some Spyro's Adventures tonight. Trying to finish all heroic challenges. I know many argue this one is the best of this franchise. I can definitely say for sure it's my favorite in terms of sounds effects. I don't know what they are doing there, but it's unique and kinda haunting.

Pffffff Imaginators or any Skylanders game for that matter doesn't even come remotely close to being even almost as good as OoT in my opinion.

They're completely different genres. It'd be like me asking which was better: Madden or Tetris?
