best element for Cy?

Long time since I've been online....
but once again I got totally adicted to the skylander games especially the imaginators which I bought a few days ago. I almost bought everything they had in my store. But there's one thing I'm not sure about yet.
I want to recreate Cy from the Skylanders Academy Series but I can't decide which element crytal I should use. I've read about the guy that voiced him in the series who got him as an earth element figure.
Is there even a difference on which crystal I create my skylanders?

I say Magic, but really... any Crystal will do.

He's all over the place. His crystal is Water/Undead colored, he's Earth in the official toy, his attacks and catchphrase are Life, but his multipurpose abilities make him Magic.

The official toy that his voice actor received is Earth, so I went with that.

Nothing he does really fits earth, though.

His color scheme is also between Water(blues and yellows), Life(Tiki Chest) and Tech(oranges, yellow)

He did pretty well as far as youtubers on movies/television go, but it's really jarring since no one else in the show has an accent and most are clearly american(except Eric who fakes australian well). If it was as diverse as in the games he'd probably blend right in.

If you have the same Crystal as the one shown in the show, I would recommend using that.

Being made up of mismatched parts like a Frankenstein monster, and one of those parts being skeleton legs, Undead fits pretty well.

Phoenix Crystal is the best unreleased Crystal.
Skylanders Academy Season 2 was an improvement.
I don't know what to think of Skylanders' future.

I do have that crystal but I already created a skylander with it
