2 Different colors on Ninjini's mid section

The one on the left is mine and the right one is a MIB one I got in a lot that I was going to put up at work. Well I figured I would compare it with mine to see if I wanted to upgrade and noticed the mid region is painted on the new one and unpainted on my old one. Is this just an oversight of paint or were the early figures unpainted there?

That is neat. I have a Punk Shock who's crossbow wasn't painted in. I guess sometimes these things slips by the factory workers.

Sometimes they have errors, and other times different manufacturing runs have variations due to materials or line differences.
