I'm having an issue with Steam...

I don't know if this is the right place to post this, but can someone help?
I log into Steam, and then I click my comment notifications. It says:

"Error
There was an error communicating with the Steam servers. Please try again later."

Then, when I go to the Community home page, it says I'm not logged in.
If I use the home page to go to a community, It won't let me post comments.
I've tried logging out and logging back in. Nothing's working. I'm really confused...

I dunno... If they do, they should fix this.

If they do have maintenance, then it means that the servers will be down while they work on them and you won't be able to log in. The purpose is that is so they can fix things and the issue you're facing would be entirely intentional.
