Natsu ran back to the camp, as fast as he could. Cupping his hands over his mouth, he began shouting. "EVERYONE UP! WE DON'T HAVE TIME TO SLEEP IN, EVERYBODY UP IMMEDIATELY!!!"

Ryuko popped he head out from the bathroom. "I'm up already!" She called before going back in to finish whatever she was doing.

Soon everyone was awake, doing different things to get ready for the day. Dark Pit watched people move about between buildings from his spot on the roof. It seemed like everyone was moving around. He rolled his eyes as he spotted Henry drawing symbols in the dirt. No surprise there, he was going to summon more Risen.

Ryuko spotted Henry as she slowly walked out from the bathroom. She looked around at everyone else before she began making her way over to him. "Hey," she spoke softly, her scissor in hand. "Get a few for me too?"

Mikasa watched the commotion as she sat in the sun, her swords laying out on the grass. She notice Ryuko and Henry talking, wondering what she wanted him to 'get a few of'.

"Sure thing!" Henry replied. He had soon drawn enough symbols and said the words to summon the Risen. The creatures appeared, filling the air with their moans.

Dark Pit couldn't help but watch the scene unfold. The Risen had such a sickening appearance he wanted to look away, but the way Henry performed the spell was rather interesting. When the creatures appeared however, he looked away. The sight of purple skinned, groaning, stumbling people with glowing red eyes, breathing clouds of black smoke that dissipated quickly, was enough to to make him feel uneasy. They clearly weren't natural, even in their own world.

Ryuko raised her blade and began cutting through the enemies almost immediately. She did this with a smile, as she enjoyed the hard work and training. "Wish I could summon these things," she commented.

Mikasa's eyes grew wide as she creatures appeared. Out of pure habit, her slender fingers wrapped around her swords' and she was on her feet. After a moment, she relaxed again, taking notice of the fact that the pair were smiling as they fought. She dropped her weapons, and quietly took a seat.

Kid immediately noticed the fact that someone had tilted all the signs when he stepped outside. He began to fix them.

Mikasa noticed as one of the people began fixing the signs. She began thinking that she should probably learn everyone's name.

Asuna stepped out of the food hall, a smile on her face. "Foods ready!" She called before re-entering.

Natsu immediately ran in, followed by Mikasa, who hadn't eaten since the previous morning.

Most people were soon in the food hall. Dark Pit left with his food, like he usually did. Everyone else (except possibly one or two of your characters) was eating in the hall.

Asuna was sitting, peacefully eating her food.

Ryuko dug in immediately, showing no mercy for what lay out in front of her.

Mikasa was more reserved, sitting a small distance away from everyone. "Do I get to know your names?" She asked, before hastily adding. "Mine's Mikasa."

Asuna smiled before responding. "I'm Asuna." She simply stated.

Ryuko managed to say her name somewhat clearly between bites of food.

Meliodas remained silent, sitting away from everyone else, and he ignored the girls question.

"I'm Natsu!" Natsu exclaimed, before finally deciding what to put on his plate this time.

Ryuk didn't say anything, just remained floating.

Everyone in the room introduced themselves in turn, and Phosphora added that "the moody angel's Dark Pit."

Viridi remained solid asleep, though it was a mystery how she hadn't started having nightmares yet.

Asuna nodded, appreciative that Kid and the girls had introduced themselves. "So, I was thinking, today could be the first day we send out a party to go look for clues as to where we are," she spoke clearly, and loud enough for everyone to hear.

"I think that's a good idea," Lucina agreed. "We'll just have to figure out who to send with who. And possibly find Dark Pit. I have no idea where he goes while we're doing other stuff."

"Maybe he just likes to be alone." Ryuko put in.

Asuna nodded. "We should send people we know are...compatible, and both of us should stay here. Everyone who goes should be able to carry their weight in fighting and supplies."

"Sure," Lucina nodded. "Well... Henry may be able to get on people's nerves, but he can also be pretty useful when it comes to magic, so he should go in case anything we find has something to do with it. As for anyone else, I guess just anyone who can tolerate him."

Ryuko raised her hand. "I'm fine with him!" She yelled before continuing to eat.

Natsu also looked up. "I'm fine with everyone!" He smiled, hoping he could go.

Asuna looked around the room. "Okay, so we'll send Henry, Ryuko, Natsu...and one more person maybe? Just to make sure we have enough people for a fight..." She trailed off as she looked around. "Any suggestions?" She questioned, hoping for someone who would be smart enough to discover any clues left around, in case the other three missed them.

"Dar," Darkrai raised an arm slightly. He wasn't entirely sure why he wanted to go, but he did.

"Okay, that sounds like enough people." Asuna glanced over at Lucina. "Anyone else we may need?" She questioned, crossing her legs under the table.

"I don't know." Mercury said

"I think we should leave the group as it is," Lucina replied.

mercur stood up. "Alright, what else can we do?" she asked

Asuna nodded. "Okay, if that's everyone we need then." She answered, looking around. "I'll prepare the bags they'll need with all the necessities. I vote we have them leave at dawn tomorrow, so they can cover as much ground as possible before nightfall." She looked around before finishing. "Anyone have anything else to add, or any better ideas?"

mercury shook her head. "Don't think so." she said calmly. Midori stood up. "More food!" she yelled. Kaze simply just shook his head

"I think that could work," Lucina agreed. "There's not really anything else they need."

"Alright, so now that that's settled...what are the rest of us going to be doing?" Asuna asked, looking and Lucina. "There has to be something productive to do around here."

"Hmm... I guess we could get to know our immediate surroundings a bit better," Lucina suggested.

mercury sat down. "good idea." she said

"Yea." Asuna agreed. "We could do that for the next few days, but after that..."

Mercury looked up. "What?" she said

"Well, there's not really much we can do. I think it's best to have this kind of a place though, so that if we split up we have somewhere to regroup," Lucina said.

Asuna nodded in agreement. "Good point." She stood, looking around. "I suppose we can leave whenever we're ready?"

mercury stood up again. "I'm ready." she said

Soon the small group that had been selected was leaving. Everyone else was left to their own devices. Lucina sat in the shade of a tree, looking at the Falchion in her hands. Her thoughts wandered to the Shepherds, to all the things she remembered doing with them A single tear slid down her cheek onto the blade. She had to see them again.

Ryuko stood, staring off into the distance. Her scissor was attached to the big bag on her back, laying in such a way that it would be easily achievable. She wondered how far they would have to go before they found any clues, or if they would even find anything. What if there was no trace as to how they got here? What if the group ended up wandering until the end of their time, forever looking for their family?

Natsu was running around the little area in circles, preparing to travel. There was a smile on his face as he thought of Lucy, who this trip was supposed to get him closer to finding.

Viridi remained sound asleep, peacefully laying on her bed.

Mikasa was laying on the grass, hands behind her head as she pulled her body up and down, forming a sit-up motion. Her swords lay in their keeps, untouched.

Asuna was cleaning up the extra supplies that she hadn't pact away, and was removing the dishes they had for breakfast.

Ryuk floated around in the sky, attempting to find something to amuse himself with.

Meliodas was out in the woods alone, following Lucina's suggestion. He was exploring, following a small trail that lead away from camp.

The group left. Darkrai scanned his surroundings for anything that might be useful as they moved, while Henry walked casually as if there was nothing that could possibly go wrong. A flicker of shadow in the corner of Darkrai's vision caused him to turn, but he saw nothing. "Dar..." he murmured, slightly confused.

Ryuko walked happily, enjoying her surroundings.

Natsu lightly sniffed the air, and froze the moment he did. He looked around, and got in a defensive position. "I think there's someone here..." He murmured, just loud enough for the group to hear.

Ryuko's hand slipped to her blade, and she removed it off of her bag. She looked around but saw nothing.

Henry pulled out a tome in the blink of an eye. He'd grabbed a random tome, he doubted he'd have time to choose, and it had turned out to be Nosferatu. Though not the worst thing he could've grabbed (he'd never liked using Mire, it was so inaccurate, and Flux was extremely basic) it wasn't the best either.

Ryuko walked circled around, looking for some sign of life. "Is there someone there?" She growled, her voice low and her scissor pointed in front of her.

A figure surrounded in shadow stepped into the open. The shadows didn't disperse in the light. The figure stood there, its only visible feature bright green eyes. It made no move.

{ I'm imagining a pair of floating green eyes, is that correct? }

Ryuko finally noticed the eyes. She pointed her scissor toward it, tilting her head. "What are you?" She called as she began to walk in the direction of the new creature.

Natsu noticed Ryuko's reaction, and turned to where she was looking. He gasped in surprise at what awaited him, and then frowned. He stood where he thought would be directly in front of the thing silently.

The eyes closed for a moment. A distinctly feminine laugh echoed through the area. A finger traced its way along Ryuko's right arm, leaving a line of searing pain in its wake. This pain was accompanied by a line of burns. Though not lethal in any way, they would hurt a lot. The hand then pulled away. "Why should I tell you who I am?" The voice of the hidden being seemed to come from everywhere, making it hard to pinpoint its origin.

"Dar," Darkrai mumbled, closing his eye in concentration.

Ryuko but her tongue, attempting not to show she was in pain. "Because you're the only mysterious one here." She responded, readying her blood püll for Senketsu.

Natsu growled, looking around. He couldn't decipher where the exact location of the enemy was, as something was clouding his senses.

A small chuckle. "I could tell you, I suppose." Her eyes were open again. "It wouldn't change anything. Then again, it would change so much." She grinned as she watched them. The shadows were hers to command. She had no need to go near them, but it was much more fun seeing them feel pain. "I am the shadow of dusk. I am chaos and war. I am darkness and despair." She gently lay a hand on Darkrai's arm, making pain flow to where it made contact.

"Dark..." Darkrai growled in pain. "Krai..." He looked for the source of the voice but the hand was gone, and he could see nothing but the green eyes.

She moved away. She watched them, curious.

"I might find you intimidating if you didn't speak such stupid words." Ryuko growled, a small smirk on her face as her skin began healing. "If you wanted us to know who you are, we would know by now. Are you telling us, or are we fighting to find out!"

"Glad we're on the same page here." She smiled. "I'm not intimidating to most people. More just... unknown. You can try to guess my name, if you'd like." She placed a black feather tipped with purple on the ground beside Ryuko. "It's not too difficult sometimes. Depends who you are."

"I couldn't tell you." Ryuko paused, bending over cautiously and picking up the feather. "I've never seen anything like this before. Is it yours?"

"Maybe, maybe not," she replied. "If it is, it is, if not, it's not." She let the shadows slightly disperse, revealing more of a shape. She kept her wings to her sides, and as they could only see her shape it appeared as if they weren't there. She grinned. "You know what? I think I might tell you my name. I mean, I could. You know what, I'll give you a hint. If you want it."

Ryuko frowned, looking at the shadowed figure. "Knowing your name won't tell me who you are." She responded, tilting her head and dropped the feather. "I do have some other questions, and you now have the choice as to whether you're answering them willingly or not." Her fingers tightened around her scissor, her eyes glaring daggers at where the presence seemed to be.

"Okay, fair enough. Ask away. I may not answer though." She looked at Ryuko, her bright eyes piercing the darkness.

An idea began to form in Darkrai's mind. He wanted to know a bit more about this mysterious presence first, but if Ryuko could continue to distract her... he glanced in her direction. "Krai."
