i'm really really excited about this bc once this becomes a thing there won't be that much need to catch them in the wild which will help the environment out. of course it'll still be a thing because people suck but it won't be as big.

but i can see in the future they'll try and selectively breed them to be super small so that they can fit in some typical tiny a** bowl. i can picture it now...petsmart/petco releases dwarf blue tangs, children and parents flock to the aquarium section in hopes of getting a dory while their bowls are in hand............
"It can live in a bowl, right?"

this is a really good thing though, at this point anything will help the coral reefs

To be fair, having a Dory or not didn't stop ****ty fish mistreatment before with the first movie, but as you said, yeah, there'll be less demand for catching them in the wild.
