I try to ask people on darkSpyro before on whether or not I should play games I'm curious about and what versions but I don't many (as in no) answers.

This topic made you can ask about what games you should play, whether or not a game you're curious about is worth your time and which version should be recommended and when you play said game(s).

Then people can answer these questions. Multiple answers and opinions are encouraged.

I'll start.

Should I get The Witcher 3 now or wait for a complete edition? If I get now, should I play the vanilla version and when I include the patches because I heard some of them change the way you play the game.

I just mean that this title is literally the same as the sticky topic. Maybe go with something like "Official 'Should I Buy' Topic".

I'm kinda on the fence for Mirror's Edge Catalyist. I was very excited for the game but I watched a few plays and reviews and it seems more like an ok game rather than a great one?

Mirror's Edge PS3?

It's dirt cheap and usually goes up for free on stuff like PS Plus sometimes so I'd say go for it.

It's flawed, but it is a unique game and worth checking out.

It shouldn't be.

It's a first person game where you do parkour and sometimes shoot bad guys, but mostly run from them. Not particularly violent and while the protagonist is female, she's not hyper-sexualised or anything, nor are any of the other characters.

That's good. I'll probably pick it up next time I go to GameStop. Thanks!

Wait for reviews to start coming out, and make your decision based on them. It's a new developer so we don't have a track record to base it on.
