Before, they were disqualified as medically unfit.


Personally, I agree with this idea in principle. However, it's going to be a logistical nightmare; so many things in the military, such as living quarters and physical fitness standards, are all based on gender, which means that we're basically going to have to rewrite the rules from scratch. There will be an insane amount of trial and error before we finally figure out something that works. But once we do, I say go for it.

Cool, I guess. It will probably be tough for the rest of the soldiers to accept them... which will SUCK!

Are you talking about the movie or are you referring to Marines?

That might actually be relevant, because out of all the branches, the Marines seem to be the most averse to this.
