At first, I was expecting PandaPanther (the animation studio that did the cutscenes and trailers of SSA, SG, SSF, STT), but I'm loving the looks of TeamTO's visuals and their efforts in making Skylanders Academy as appeal looking as possible.

What do you guys think?

The characters are so interesting seeing them within a daily setting, I.e. Eruptor just standing casually in the first pic, or stealth elf without a mask. I think the animation judging from the screenshots are pretty good.

Pros

Spyro looks better than in games, comics, commercials, and figures.
They made most of the Skylander models look pretty nice and took the jump of having Stealth Elf have a mouth
Some of the details on the Skylanders look really nice like Spyro's scales and bits of Eruptor's body.
Also with the CGI it could take advantage on camera angles which seems to be doing well in the screenshots given. Maybe they'll give us some nice action scenes when out.

Cons

Spyro's horns and spikes really look plasticy. As well as Stealth Elf's hair.
At times it would seem even less detailed than usual or as thought.
PopFizz's model from a screenshot looks really messed up. Idk how else to describe it.

Otherwise, not bad.

Just a small summary, they're several shorts from a single episode it seems.

1) Kaos somehow stole Eon's beard, and for some reason Golden Queen falls in love with him over Wolfgang.
2) Hugo tries to help Eruptor with anger management, and after a few weeks is less than impressed though Eruptor is joyful.
3) Eon has a weird fixation with beard spray. Spyro tries to call him for something and he still manages to put beard spray in the subject, literally, by spraying more of it around.

My only problem with the animation is some special effects (like Eruptor's lava). Some of them are a little odd. Besides that, the animation is above the TV standards.

I would also criticize the overuse of Mabu, but, like they said, animation is pretty expensive and hard, so...

Maybe some polish on movement and it's 100%. We'll see the results next year.
