No more elemental background for "magic moment"

Is it just me or I was really hoping for the return of the elemental themes background when a skylanders was placed onto the portal - like in trap team. Unlike how superchargers has vehicles I see why that wasn't possible, but surely imaginators has that potential right?

I really hope so. They even have old-style Magic Moment animations for the SuperChargers (including the vehicles), which were implemented in SC Racing, so they don't need to make those from scratch. (P.S. Bowser's magic moment is awesome!)

Seeing the preview with the SSC-style character loading, which to me is devoid of magic (especially with the lacking animation in the preview, but I'm sure they'll do something about that for the full release), was a little disappointing.

Phoenix Crystal is the best unreleased Crystal.
Skylanders Academy Season 2 was an improvement.
I don't know what to think of Skylanders' future.

The magic moment seems to be unfinished, so I'd wait and see. The Creations are lacking... Everything really when they come in so it's probably not fully implemented yet.

The entire game is showing signs of SF5 syndrome, where the gameplay is top notch, but the assets such as the UI and magic moment are bland. It's unfinished now, but it will likely be fixed soon.

I think it's still unfinished, but even if they were to retain SuperChargers' magic moment I hope they will at least make it more elemental.
Just the logo popping up before the character (with some pretty cool effects nonetheless) isn't enough go me.

It will be nice to at least enjoy a magic moment without having vehicles on the screen as well. smilie

Was gonna say this! I don't mind seeing the SC one again, since I could never fully enjoy it since the vehicles got in the way.

I think this is just unfinished, in my guess the magic moment screen will look a bit like the Skylander creator.

I think it's unfinished. The whole UI from that clip looks very beta, and some of the animations look unfinished. I'm assuming they'll probably change it within the next couple of months.

The gameplay we've seen so far is unfinished. They don't normally show the full finished game at reveals.
