Basically what the title says. Here's what I think:

I'd love to hear your opinions, and what kind of portal you'd like to see in the future.

Design-wise, either Trap Team's or Swap Force's.

I like the Trap Team portal best, both for design and usefulness as technically you can run any game on it. Although I tend to have issues using it with Swap Force so I end up using the Swap Force portal when I play that one.

Worst for me is SuperChargers, it's the most basic design.

Trap team portal for ps4 & ps3. Basically because it's compatbile with all skylanders games on playsation (3 and 4), Wii U & Wii.

Traptanium Portal. Big, easy to carry(noticed after having to move it and the SSA one around that curved big edges are great), figures are protected against my elbow while playing on the desk, and just really nice looking.

Tie between SSA and TT for me. SC is definitely my least favorite.

I like the design of the Giants portal because it fits the Battle Arena. I would say the Spyro's Adventure portal, but the cable doesn't fit flush. I like all the portals for their strengths, but it would be cool to have one that fits an accessory like the arena and works with every game.

SSA because it's not too big, I like the design and I like how it changes colour. My least favourite is the SuperChargers one.

Definitely the Traptanium Portal: it works with all games, has some nice extras, a great design and I love how it lights up.

This is the order:

SA/Giants
SWAP Force


SuperChargers

Whoever decided the design of the last Portal should probably think about going to work for Hot Wheels.

Traptanium portal is the best no need to change portal when swapping games and I have never even plugged in my superchargers portal.

This is feeling like deja vu. We had a thread like this somewhere.

Traptanium portal easily the best both in look and able to function for all 5 games.

SC portal totally destroyed the "fantasy" for me as Baha would put it.

You mean the Giants GITD Portal? I thought about mentioning it but felt like cheating since it brings back what the regular version took from SSA's.

I liked the Giants portal best . SSA wireless portal was a great idea but less convenient then a cable portal and needed batteries .

That mem stick ? thing was so small we did not want to lose it so it went back into its slot so mainly screw on and screw off before play time .

Most of my SSA adventure was playing with the cramped 3DS mini portal plugged into the PS3

The SSF portal seemed rather cheaper in design .

Trap Team portal is very pretty but its so big and seems so fragile . That villain chatter sometimes gets very annoying although I assume the younglings love that .

@Dark Fhoenix - You can turn off the villains' voices in the options menu. It's sturdier than it looks though, can attest to it after hitting ny knee on it on accident(never leaving it on the edge of a tiny chair again).

Most favorite: Trap Team
The design is most unique compared to the previous designs, with the ring and the translucent base and everything.

Least favorite: SuperChargers
It doesn't even look like a good skylanders portal. I did say the TT one was different, but this one uses entirely different themes. They just took the spirit away from the base style of the Portal of Power.

The glow in the dark portal for the win...

Yeah mine would ba the Trap Team Portal also...like the adding of the speaker...and its glowing ring with the clear base....it is a portal after all.(matter of fact its the portal i use for Superchargers)

Lest would be the Superchargers Portal..very bland and it dosen't light up...wtf VV an Activision?

I think the Trap Team one, even though it doesn't light up that well... and its a bit glitchy sometimes OR the SSA one, it was pretty

SWAP Force. Simple, yet amazing. It was basically an upgrade of the original portal, which I love, but not as much as the SWAP Force portal. I liked the Trap Team one, I just don't like the tall barrier and the fact that it can get scratched up easily. I hated the Superchargers one. Too bland. I use the Trap Team portal when playing Superchargers.

Good one, the thing with the Traptanium Portal is that it scratches up very easily

The Swap Force portal is my favourite. I am guessing we will be getting a new portal for sky 6 so I hope it ain't tacky like the sc one was.
