It seems, yes. But remember that Wild Storm comes in an adventure pack with a Life Crystal and a Mystery Chest, and he unlocks a new level.

So, for Wave 5 we'll have

What we don't know yet is if there'll be more adventure packs in Wave 5, but seeing how things are happening and how it seems TfB is testing the addition of extra-levels/DLC, it seems highly possible IMO.

Just going to say one on-topic thing, to avoid getting off-topic: why would Netflix and Activision want to invest time and money on a TV series based on a dead videogame franchise...?

I mean, they could simply really like it a lot, and we indeed know Activision wants to expand itself on other media as well but wouldn't the possibility Skylanders isn't dead at all be more likely, at this point?
Almost seems like the tables are turning, to me.

Agree, season 3 confirmed is a strong hint towards more positive future of the franchise. Not saying sky 7 will be released this year, but it doesn't look as if they want to bury the franchise just yet.

Also the "6 weeks" Facebook post seems to reference the March 12 wildstorm adventure pack release date. Here's hoping ( coz it's a special occasion) it actually has a proper release instead of just filtering slowly into some stores a week or 2 later.

Still haven't created a Bazooker yet, so I have another question.
From what I've seen Bazookers usually have small legs and big, wide torsos, wile the on on the Facebook post looks more armonic in terms of proportions: is it already possible with the right tweaks, or is it a possible new body shape option?

The legs are definitely a part that's already in the game, I have them on one of my imaginators. I can't tell if the chest is new, and from the little bit of the arms I can see, it looks like they're wooden arms that seem to be in the game already. But it's not very clear because of the arm and shoulder guards blocking most of the arm.

I made a pretty tiny bazooker when the game launched. His legs are slightly larger than his torso, so it's possible. The proportions you're talking about are probably just the default size settings for the class. Sorcerers start out with tiny legs too, but they can be resized to more human proportions.
