Nintendo recently announced a new Nintendo Direct coming Thursday, March 3rd at 2PM PT! It'll be focusing on games coming out on Wii U and 3DS this summer.

Watch the Direct here!

What do you expect to be shown in the Direct? Once again, no NX or mobile titles will be talked about.

Meh, I'll copy paste this from elsewhere:

Most of what I want to see in this direct is just the usual stuff like Star Fox, Mother 3 and Paper Mario confirmations, etc.

The only other things I can think of are:

-More info on Mario & Sonic Rio Olympics' Wii U version. I'm hoping it has a lot of content and an adventure mode on console for once, and expanded online.

-Wario, DK, and Rosalina amiibo for the Super Mario series. They really should be continuing the Mario line in general but it baffles me these three still haven't got one since they have designs ready to go. It's just a small little thing I have been wanting for a year now. I know I will get the Rosalina (probably 3 of her, lol) and Wario ones.

-More info on the amiibo centric Mini Mario game, like how it will be distributed in the West.

-Hyrule Warriors DLC? IIRC, Legends has a DLC menu. And I would assume they would put any new content on both versions if they are making any.

-Anything Rosalina related of course.

-And it's a bit of a wild card but maybe something Sonic related?

-Oh and info on Pokken, maybe DLC confirmation. AAAND Detective Pikachu.

What I hope for

Pokemon Sun and Moon info (As much as Pokken news and a confirmation on localization of Detective Pikachu is nice, I value Sun and Moon info as more important right now)

Yo-Kai Watch 2 localization confirmed
Smash 5 confirmation (Doubt it)
Release date for that one soccer game they played during the Nintendo Championships (forgot name)

Alright I wanna talk about the bolded text. While yes I agree that Pokemon Sun and Moon info would be amazing, the game still seems to be in predevelopment if they're still working out all the concept work. I doubt we'll see any actual gameplay footage until E3.

As for Smash 5, why in the hell would they announce that game so soon. Sakurai is on vacation now, and he's the only one who Nintendo will task the Smash series to lead the next installment. We had a 6 year break between Brawl and Smash 4, and we just passed the 1 year anniversary of Smash 4's release. Give it some time man.

BTW, that soccer game was BlastBall and that's in Metroid Prime Federation Force.

They wouldn't have to show gameplay of Sun and Moon. They could just show artwork and reveal new Pokemon. That's what most people care about when it comes to new Pokemon games.
But with that said I will be surprised if we do get anything Sun and/or Moon related.

Keep in mind its for summer releases.

For I'm assuming everything from June to the end of September. So with that being said, only putting some logical thinking to work.

-Hyrule Warriors, The 3DS one that i keep forgetting.
-A possibility of Zelda U
-Story of Seasons 2(I doubt it)
-Fire Emblem DLC
-Pre E3 hype.

Just like every single direct I'm hoping for a new Kirby game or F-Zero game. Maybe a Rhythm Thief sequel but I doubt it.

At the very least I'm hoping for a confirmation on DLC support for Pokken Tournament. And of course any new game announcements I'd like to see.

I'm pretty sure that all we'll see of Zelda U (if) it is show will be a 10 second teaser trailer similar to the one that we got in the previous direct. I think that they're gonna keep Zelda U under wraps until E3 where they can go all out. It's pretty much a given that we'll see Star Fox Zero seen as it isn't long until release now and maybe a small segment on Twilight Princess HD. As much as I hope for it, I doubt that we will get anything related to the NX in the direct, we may get a little teaser such as Reggie saying that they'll speak more about it in the coming months but nothing major.

I doubt it'll be the same as Sticker Star considering the negative feedback from it. The battle system like the stickers will but XP and stuff might still come back, and hopefully an actual story.
