I'm asking this because I haven't been keeping up with things as much lately. I was legitimately surprised to see that a lot of once rare SSA figures can now be gotten pretty cheap. It appears that Blackout and Spotlight are among the rarest characters right now, so am I missing anybody?

Yeah Blackout and Spotlight are pretty much the ones selling for the most lately.

There is quite a couple of Spotlights over here if anyone wants to play the postage game with me .

My favorite currency is Skylanders <duh> and DND WOTC miniatures . <whoots>

I think Scratch and Echo are pretty high up on the rarity scale, though the gold medal goes to Blackout and silver goes to Spotlight.

Lightcore Chill (non-Legendary) is pretty damn impossible to find. It's the only Giants era in-game variant I don't have.

Where is your area? I've never seen one in the wild and have made thousands of visits to stores. Besides the usual traps that almost no one has, he is the only regular figure I am lacking.

My TRU has quite a few Scratch and Fire Bone Hot Dog figures hanging out on the pegs. They have been there for over a month now. I managed to get a Scratch after her original release, but never found FBHD. I was so excited to find them in the wild but was shocked to see so many. I snatched him up thinking he would be gone that day, only to find out I was the only one who gave him a home!

I'm in Kansas, USA if that helps.

Lightcore Chill (non-Legendary) is certainly harder for me to find in the wild. I've yet to find a used one of her. Got my Scratch for $4.50 from a recent 50% off Gamestop sale and I've seen a few Fire Bone Hot Dogs at Gamestop recently but never this Chill.

It's too soon to comment about the Trap Team characters as it seems only yesterday that that they were everywhere brand new (really about 6 months ago). I'm finding it hard to imagine that the TT characters are rare as opposed to just really in demand currently and no one is giving them up. I'm thinking they'll end up being like Ghost Roaster with high value for a while, but lower down to the $15 range when Gamestop floods the market with used ones. Scratch has been much more available in the past month for $9 off of their website and I think they'll end up killing the TT market once they get around to putting those later wave characters up online.

I'd go with traps.

The Tech Tiki was a pain in the ass to find and when i did it cost more than i would have liked, especially for a used one.

I honestly think it's polar whirlwind. I mean, I had literally never seen on in person until the one I bought on eBay arrived.

LOL I got my Polar Whirlwind from a garage sale this past year. Things are so random like that. I got myself a clear green Gill Grunt from a garage sale this year too after never seeing him for years and then I found another at a pawn shop two weeks ago. Yet I've never seen that clear red Drill Sergent in the wild other than the boatloads of them that Walmart had three years ago. I think it's all a matter of luck really.

Wouldn't you figure that I finally found my Lightcore Chill after I said how rare she was last week? She was marked $12.99 at Gamestop but rung up $9.99. Sweet! Now Firebone Hot Dog is top on my rarest figure want list. smilie LOL! Actually I may have seen LC Chill before, she's a little hard to ID from a normal Chill. I just had to remember to look for the one with her weapon stuck into the ground.
