Stewart Copeland, the singer and drummer of the police, is probably very well known for composing the PSX spyro games. As Crash Mania has done this before, with myself leading one of the interviews, we should really take a shot at interviewing him to understand his experiences and beliefs as a musician and video game composer. With that done, we can also publish the interview on darkspyro for all to see.

Would this be possible, dark52?

I... I have a suggestion. What if we posted the questions that we'd like to ask Stewart Copeland for his interview.
Whatdaya think? I like it if we were to do this, but keep the questions reasonable, and you can pick your favorites.

My question would be: "What was your inspiration for the instrumentation of the music in Spyro the Dragon, seeing how as a weird combination of world instruments was used (i.e. the Koto with idiophone instruments such as the marimba/balafon in the 'Artisan Homeworld' track)?

[...or whatever exotic instruments were used, I'm not quite sure]

The first thing we need to do is to be able to shoot him an email. I doubt he would have time to personally answer our request, so maybe it'll go through the band manager and whatnot, who will then forward it to him.

I'd ask Stewart Copeland what he thought about Spyro: Enter the Dragonfly during the development of the game. And What was the Enchanted Forest like?
