PSA: Reporting Images/Posts as Porn [CLOSED]

Alrighty. I've done this PSA in the past, but now it needs to be said again. DO NOT report images/posts as pornographic material when their not porn. In edge cases, report them as inappropriate. Not only does this take away peoples' image posting abilities temporarily, but it just clogs up the moderation queue.

How it's "relevant" is that it was in response to Sleepy reporting Zap just to block his image privileges, because Sleepy thought Zap did the same. This is in spite of the fact that the only things Zap said in that topic was;

You know what's even more fun than misreports? The fact that Sleepy just spoiled a currently popular game with no warning whatsoever in here. I know they're running around with a quote that's also a spoiler but at least that lacks context. I don't want to report for non-Skylanders stuff but I'm starting now.

To be fair while spoiling anything is a jerk thing to do, it's a bit worse to run around reporting things for porn and get people's privileges taken away for an extended period of time when it doesn't warrant such. That interferes with someone's ability to post in a regular manner.

That said I tagged the image as a spoiler.

I know it's really bad,sorry, just had an outburst over that one there because it just looked mean spirited in this topic of all places.
But guys, even with the reporting, starting drama because you think you know who reported you is not going to help either. It just adds to S&N's reputation of being hostile, especially if you're targeting a newer user. Even if they start bragging about it, it's even more reason to just report back and move on.

If they are misusing the report feature, perhaps taking away their ability to report may solve this? The Forum Rules does state if there is constant misuse of the report feature, that user's ability to report will be removed.
