Earth traps the most powerful vechicle weapons.

I'm playing on nightmare and it seems earth traps are the most powerful doing 1000 damage. Kaos only does 500 and the do 250 or 375. Why did they make the earth traps so powerful?

The Earth element is usually determined by their strengths and amounts of health. Granite Crusher, Steel Plated Smash Hit, and Elite Terrafin have the highest health points.

They also have a lower firing rate and don't have an explosive effect.

But, yeah. they are very strong and have a lot of ammo in a normal playthrough.

Really? The Crusher and Smash Hit variants have boosted HP? I mean, I noticed my S.P. Smash Hit had high HP, but that's part of it being a variant?
