I pre ordered the two dual packs from Best Buy and I just received an email saying they're delayed for 10/10/15, anyone else get this?

Nope. Got a tracking number. Might have just had too many pre-orders since they were the only ones to put them up.

Which SuperCharger(s) and their Vehicle(s) will be in the Dual Packs at Best Buy? We already know that Terrafin/Shark Tank and Jet-Vac/Jet Stream are currently available at Walmart.

They are the same dual packs, just much cheaper with GCU. Mine are delayed as well.

That's why I preordered a bunch of wave 1 stuff from best buy. I was hoping I'd have the Dual packs this weekend, oh well another week

I love GCU, but Best Buy is terrible on Skylanders after Wave 1, just terrible. They will get them eventually. If you want them now, Walmart is the best option.

i want jet-vac duel pack but i refuse to shop at walmart, ill just hope my local bestbuy or gamestop has them, if not ill have to wait longer.

I'd rather wait for them then go around hunting at least I know itll be hear and its a little cheaper with the gamers club

Yeah, outside of figures that unlock content, I have all the time in the world. The non shipped Yawn traps helped to condition that behavior. Thanks Activision!

It is awesome isn't it? The Legendary Sky pack came out yesterday and I felt no urge whatsoever to go get it. I might have wanted variants if they hadn't made it so ridiculous to even try and get them this year with their Starter shenanigans.

I did break down to get the sky pack, because it unlocked content. Unfortunately there was literally NO ONE on XBO wanting to race. jedihunter12 eats my lunch on every race though, I ALMOST won one of the 10 races we've played together lol.

Totally agreed on the starter pack scenario. Gotta send that message loud and clear...reduce variants, number of figures fine, don't try to pull console exclusives in starters.

TRU has conditioned us to the fact that their stores are absolutely flooded with their Legendary figures the first few months following release and also online. It's a sure bet these will be plentiful on Black Friday into December because that's the timeframe where TRU looks to make the most bank on their exclusives. Good luck to all those "must have them now" collectors, but I absolutely refuse to pay full TRU retail price for stuff like this. $45 is highway robbery...that's almost as much as a brand new game on practically any system using Best Buy's GCU. Quite honestly, I think many parents are going to balk at the price and think twice before buying this for their kids...the more sensible general fans of the franchise that don't chase after all the figures won't shell out $45 for this. There's also no guarantee that you'll be able to actually play with anything other than the Legendary Astroblast figure in future games since Activision will probably do away with vehicle zones for future games.

Is the dual pack still the only confirmed way of getting Hurricane Jet Vac?

@master: Mine was $38 for this tax included....but that's pretty much DOUBLE the SSA Adventure Pack price. It is getting ridiculous, and I agree it's time to send home base a message....cause...you know...other TTL franchises exist. It would not surprise me to find languishing stock here due to this price point.

I stand corrected...I thought I had read somewhere TRU was charging $45 for the packs. $35 is still rough considering the only thing in this pack you might be able to play with in future games is Legendary Astroblast. I miss the Empire of Ice, Dragons Peak, Pirate Seas, and Darklight Crypt pricing...now that was reasonable. With this kind of pricing, Activision is pricing themselves out of competition with the other Toys to Life franchises. Rather than sell more packs at a lower price, they're jacking up prices such that less people will buy and some people will become fed up and quit Skylanders altogether. What drove the sales during the Spyros Adventure and Giants era wasn't these insanely priced add ons. $35 would have been unheard of back then!

You're very awesome on racing. I'm still struggling to beat single player races in hard mode.

Hope we can race/grind on character and vehicle upgrades very soon! Not sure where the other XBO guys are. MIA as far as I'm concerned.

Mine are delayed as well but I'm gonna buy them in store on Sunday if they have them when I also pick up my wave 2

To be honest, we never had a set dual pack release date. There was one in the Best Buy system for miscellaneous combo packs...some of which were fulfilled and mailed out and some of which were delayed due to lack of immediate stock to fulfill preorders. We have 2 known release situations. 1-Walmart got 2 of the dual packs first. 2-TRU just started trickling out their exclusive Legendary pack. Beyond that, we have some murmurs that Best Buy and GameStop will have theirs within the next few days. If you have Best Buy GCU, it's worth just being patient for the 20% discount...we'll have reports of a lot more stores having the dual packs by this time next week most likely.

ok well i got my jet-vac duel pack, i got it at target. i was at that target yesterday so they did put them out today. after calling another gamestop he said they are delayed but for other reasons and they should be getting them in on the 9th. so for now it looks like its very hit n miss. best to just call the places instead of going out and hunting them. but i really need to sign up for that bestbuy GCU.

I came back today from my local EB (Gamestop) and I got told their system now says 10/12/15 for dual packs. This blows.

I went to target today to get some milk and I checked the Skylanders section. THEY HAD BOTH DUAL PACKS, SO I BOUGHT THEM! And cancelled my pre order from Best Buy. They also had 2 smash hits and 4 high volts. No wave 2 vehicles or nightfall.

I recently went to target today. I saw both Shark Shooter Terrafin + Shark Tank and Hurricane Jet-Vac + Jet Stream.

On a similar line of thought to the dual pack any news on the triple pack yet?

I want the triple but waiting on bestbuy to get it or TRU during a sale and on a thursday so i get another 10% off on top of the normal 40%

When the legendary sky racing pack (finally) showed up at my local TRU they also had the Jet-Vac dual pack on the pegs as well. If I had not already purchased the vehicle I would have picked it up. I will wait for wave-3 to grab JV as a single now.

Best Buy and Target both have Wave 2 in full, and TRU has a mass of Wave 2 stuff (loads of everything), including the Dual Packs when I went by earlier in the week. The Skylanders bubble seems to have burst in record time this year after a pretty good start. Lots of people on Release Night, but full pegs now.

I'm sure it will ramp up some closer to Christmas, but I don't remember interest dying out so fast previously.

Sticker shock is probably a part of it as well. A lot of parents are probably going "where are those $9.99 figures?" Not a smart idea to raise the base price of your cheapest new figure above $10...added reason for parents to have their kid move onto something else if they haven't already.

I asked if anyone received theirs, if they preordered. I preordered mine and they said that they were delayed and I still have not received a shipment confirmation. I already could have picked them up from other stores, but I used GCU so I bought them on discount. Getting very upset with Best Buy for this preorder issue. Did you order more than 1? I think they put people who order "eBay quantity number" into a different pool for fulfillment. I know by experience when I ordered 3 of one last year.
