Skylanders giants for my 8 year old Cousin's first game ? [CLOSED]

My cousin loves my skylander figures she just turned 8. And I got her a wii for her birthday. Is skylanders giants good for her age and not too challanging. I have played it but when I did I was 13 when I played so it my be different for her ?

You can change the difficulty from Easy to Hard(and Nightmare after beating the game once), so it can be challeging or not at all if you wish.

Also it is a cheaper way to start skylanders. I loved Giants. Also an idea is to start with skylanders 1 for the story?

In my opinion, Giants is easier than Spyro's Adventure if you set the game to easy. As for all compatible figures, from the first two games, I suggest buying them used if you can. I can find figures like this for $3 and $4, however I don't know what the prices are for other places.

Also two weeks ago, I got my Wii U copy of Giants for $20, so wherever you live, the whole starter pack could be cheap.

Skylanders one is a bit too hard for her. She has played very few games.

You can set it to easy. My little brother was younger than 8 when he played it on easy, and he didn't have a problem.
