There's a thing called an amendment. Maybe you've heard of them.

Some notable examples of amendments:
Women's suffrage, beginning and ending prohibition, abolishing slavery, ect.

huh, it's almost like the literal definition of a human right given in the preamble is that everyone should be able to pursuit happiness and make the most of their life. You know...something a job would do enable you to do?

They also mention that every one is equal so why would you fire someone for being gay? That doesn't sound like equality to me so...I guess getting a job based on your work ethic and not your sexuality is a right.

It would make perfect sense in this day and age. And if you did take American History with all As (which was completely irrelevant btw), you'd know the founding fathers didn't make all the Amendments. That came after.

The amendments were mainly to cover new concepts and oversights. The abolition of slavery and other such concepts were just things they didn't have time to implement at first. Plus the founding fathers were against homosexuality. When they put them in the military they made them stop codoing homosexual acts, and they complied.
