Would you buy an updated Skylanders: Spyros Adventure [CLOSED]

If a version of Skylanders: Spyros Adventure was released that had shinier graphics, incorporation of jumping, tweaked level design, nightmare mode, arena challenges and compatibility with all recent figures and accessories would you buy it? At what price point?

I would most definitely buy it! Although I would prefer that only Spyro's Adventure characters could be playable (it would probably be easier for them that way). I'd pay $75 to $100

Hard to say. If the level design is different enough to fully incorporate jumping, the combat had Swap Force "knockback" mechanics, and some redesigned elemental gate areas (and the gates only require a Skylander of said element, no gimmicks), then I'm leaning towards yes I'd get it.

The only issue I have is that a lot of SSA's charm comes from stuff that wasn't carried through the rest of the series - the sounds the Skylanders made when they couldn't speak English, the several catchphrases each Skylander had, the water traversal, the lava traversal. I'd imagine if it was remade, they'd remove all of these features (maybe not water traversal, since it'd require massive redesign, but the unique Skylander things would definitely be gone).

So... I don't know? I'd really depend on how they revamp it.

Price-wise, I'd want there to be a game-only edition for those who already have plenty of characters and portals, with that edition costing $50 max.

Thank you for releasing me!

On gibberish, it was a last second change that TFB hadn't finished until Giants. All original 'landers spoke gibberish in Universe and old footage(Hex's lines just sounded like scrambled latin words tho), but from interviews it sounded like they decided way late in development it didn't help kids identify with them or something.
Now, an updated rerelease would be nice only if the levels got major changes to the point of just being the same places. They're all too short and easy to memorize as it is, and some end just as things get fun. Price range, probably as much as a regular game, no starter pack required. Maybe you'd need a recent portal or something but a rerelease with the price of a new entry would be a bit much.

A digital version would be very welcome. Updated graphics, allowing you to use a newer portal, and perhaps some sort of integration with new characters. That'd at least give them an excuse to re-release SSA era figures and stuff that are hard to find now.

I would buy if it was ported to xbox one, with no other changes whatsoever. Same with Giants.

I would but all past games if they where re released like that. I wished for sky 5 that it would be a hub and each month or so get new adventure packs released and figures but superchargers is much better. I think though one day that maybe my idea will happen and also the revamped skylanders games

You need superchargers gear in Toronto? I'm your guy.

I'd buy it in a heartbeat, if it used the same graphics engine as Swap Force and Superchargers and allowed for all characters to be playable, as well as retaining heroics which would make my Skylanders not feel like snails when they walk.

Same with an updated Giants.

I have been wanting this for a long time. I think it's possible we'll get one soon as well, it seems we've been getting some minor "hints". Have it on the SF engine, with jumping knock mechanics and all Skylanders playable and I'd get it opening day.

I'd love a Giants remaster as well.

This is my favorite Skylanders game and I want to have a remastered version down the road. What would be a lot more better is if all the SSA packs were all back in stores and can easily be found when this remaster ever exists. I don't want new cores, just the original green bases.

No!!! I want NEW content! There is a dearth of content across all of the games in proportion to the roster. I can't believe that user generated content isn't part of the series yet, but I say let that be the platform for remixes or revisits. Give me new islands, character origin stories, or revisit past areas with new goals and plot points, but it's far too soon IMO for the official dev teams to remaster anywhere yet.

Yep. I'd even buy the Wii U Spyro's Adventure game ported from the Japanese version, if they would port it here.

I've been trying to rally support behind it for awhile. We Wii U owners need to make our voices heard. :D

This. remaster wouldn't cut it either as they should also incorporate all existing skylanders. I would like VV's engine on this as well. This is a project I would estimate wouldn't be done until the series is done.

I would buy it if it incorporated all characters released so far, including Eon's Elite, as well as all the expansion levels and items, and had heroics for said characters.

All the characters playable?
HC only available for characters who were Green and Orange Base originally? Along with all 50?
Updated graphics and on Wii U?
If yes to all of these, then yes.

As long as it as awesome graphics, and supports ALL toys, I will.

Definitely. Just update it to support all toys and improve the graphics. (You could add jumping, too). Wouldn't even need its own portal pack. Just release the game by itself to function with the trap team/superchargers portals
