So I had Food Fight and Jet Vac since way earlier, both leveled up to 14. Now when Full Blast Jet Vac and Dark Food Fight was coded in and I could claim then, it threw back Jet Vac and Food Fight to level 1!

Anyone else experince the same and any ideas on what to do? If there is anything to do about it...

That's one up on me, I had them both at15, they bugged out, but I wasn't given any claim options, though I got Food fight using Dark's code to begin with.

I experienced this too and it had me worried thinking I was the only one with this issue.

Yeah, its buggy for folks all over. Am not worried about 2 characters going back to level 1, small change, but they are being linked all wrong all over. If I send both Food Fight and Dark Food Fight off in missions, they both show as dark and then when back, one shows in use...then have to claim again. Think I will retreat from the game for a while. Hope they are aware of these glitches. Have learned that more often than not, they are not.

Wow - yes, I have to say I was quite surprised when I spun for a new skylander and got Jet Vac!! So yes, I have the same issue. Full Blast Jet Vac and Dark Food Fight magically appeared maxed out at level 15, and Food Fight and Jet Vac had to be re-entered.

I had hoped that the update would fix Rocky Egg Roll's quest to clear invaders, but that still doesn't register.

Sigh. I love this game, but not one of their best updates.

On my Android device i have dark food fight as the only new character. Full Blast Jet Vac has not arrived yet.
But as well, Jet Vac and Food Fight are back for spinning the wheel on level 1.

While writing my previous message i received another update.
Jet Vac and Food Fight are still at level 1 but Dark Food Fight disappeard.

Maybe this is a nice new way by activate to search for software developers and testers. Simply release buggy software and hope that any free software engineer will apply :-)

I had the same bugs. Mine just got worse. I went back in to see what skylanders I actually had plus there level and it went immediately to spinning for skylanders and I won food fight, but have now lost full blast jet vac. I would highly recommend not opening your game until this is resolved. Orville needs to get back on here and let us know what's up and when it is safe to resume playing.

Well good thing I have a last nights version on my Ipad at home... I'll wait till they sort this out. Not wanting to have to redo food fight and jet vac. Got Frizzy frenzy pop fizz now. No Full Blast Jet Vac.

Don't forget there are lots of gems to be earned by re-leveling a character! The quests probably don't reset though.

Dark Wildfire seens ok and without any bugs

I lost Food Fight, Dark Food Fight, and Jet Vac. All went from 15 to 1. I have to relink Food Fight, but the other two I could just claim. Full Blast Jet Vac was not an option. Neither was Fizzy Frenzy Pop Fizz.

I just got a new update, dark wildfire, full blast jet Vac and sure Shot Stromboom. No skylanders reset to level 1
No dark Food fight
Rocky egg roll quest working

I'm running LI on iPad.

New weekly quest, 50 drumsticks from snack stand and 500 spieces from crops.

The number is up to 206 as far as I can tell. Dark Wildfire, Dark Food Fight, Full Blast Jet Vac and Sure Shot Shroomboom added. Anyone find any other alts added? Full Blast Jet Vac actually looks different, but Sure Shot Shroomboom is just the same but a little darker.

My regular Food Fight and Jet Vac went back to 1 from 15, but regular Wildfire and regular Shroomboom kept their levels. Oh well, lots of gems from the leveling and it really doesn't take all that long. It might stink though if you don't have many high level ones though to be reverted

Looks like I got lucky, all seemed to go in without any of my other guys getting reset. I'm on Android.

You guys still have Full Blast Jet-Vac? He dissapeard for me after resetting Jet-Vac

Took about 3-4 tries but my Full Blast Jet-Vac and Dark Food Fight finally started to be separate from their regular counterparts. Also just added Sure Shot Shroomboom and Fizzy Frenzy Pop Fizz so am now 202/202 with 6 alter egos missing.

My rank 5 quests are not activated for Full Blast Jet-Vac or Dark Food Fight though. They did work for Nitro Head Rush and Dark Wildfire. No new quests for my reset down to level 1 Food Fight and Jet Vac sadly, but ah well.

So the new update has stabilized the characters, but JV and FF still reset at level 1.

That's odd. I have Full Blast Jet vac earlier but no he's been removed, and no sign of Fizzy Frenzy or Sure Shot. Hmm.

Edit: Ah, figured it out. I hadn't put the codes in separately from the other versions of themselves.

First they add in Full Blast Jet Vac then for some reason think i own and toy linked him . I do not but not complaining . I close the App.

I return in a few minutes now both Jet Vacs are under spin for a skylander . kay i am game i spin spin spin . I put Jet Vac into the Air Sanctum and ignore turbo I close the App .

I once again return to find Full Blast has disappeared and i must spin again for Jet Vac . I spin him back into the Lost islands and send him on adventures . But I see Jet Vac is in the Sanctum where i put him last time too .

My Food Fight seems normal and i do not see any Dark Food Fight

I am now receiving the "your cloud save was made with an updated version" bull crap when there is no update... I want to quit playing, this game gives me anxiety

Think I've recovered from about 6 of those now, I no longer get anxious when it pops up - usually get it fixed in my first couple of attempts now.

I temporarily had Full Blast Jet-Vac and Dark Food Fight, but later went in and both are no longer available. Jet-Vac and Food Fight, who I'd re-spun for, were no longer owned. I entered codes the second time, and they seem to be sticking around now. They have quickly leveled up to 6 and 7, so I'm not really worried about them. Leveling them up a second time gives me a bit more to do and a few extra gems. As with other characters who have been reset, quests do not reactivate.

I have the timed quest, but FBJV and DFF have not re-appeared on my island, and Rocky Egg Roll's quest still does not register. So it sounds like there is another update waiting to come down for me. With any luck, I'll get it later today.

I had already entered codes for them and they turned up as "Claim" this morning for me. So I'm not sure which, if any, were spin-able.

None of my usual tricks for triggering the download of an update are working for me today. My current version is listed as 2.0.0(2226858+2539329) Can someone please confirm the version number that has Dark Food Fight and Full Blast Jet-Vac?

If I'm just slow at getting the update, it's annoying, but will come down eventually. But if my version is correct, the fact that I initially got these 2 at full level and spun for the 2 'normal' versions that I previously had, then had them both at level 1 and leveled up to level 3 (while at the same time loosing the 2 normal versions again), and then entered codes for the normal version, may be interfering with me getting the variants back again. If that's the case, I need to contact Activision.

Eeep my Food Fight wants me to spin for it again.

I'm showing the same version. I have dark food fight but I do not have full blast jet vac. I did briefly have him, but he is gone. So it seems that these new skylanders were intended for code/portal right now and will be released in game later. All the new characters I now have from this update I have codes for. The ones I do not have, I do not have codes for.

Yeah, this update was really messed up! I was given FBJV at level 15 but had to claim regular Jet Vac and get him back as level 1. Then FBJV disappeared completely, I got Dark Food Fight at level 1 and had to spin for Food Fight. No big deal overall, just really weird. I suspect they messed up in defining which codes were for the new characters versus the originals. Not sure this will get any better if they try to fix it - I can see having to re-spin again for all of them.

I was able to claim Jet Vac, but had to roll $5 million for Food Fight again.

I didn't have any reset issues when I claimed dark wildfire and dark food fight but it seems they aren't dark enough to stay in a dark house :/ they walk around my islands looking so sad because they are denied their rightful housing

For people who are entering codes before the skylanders are announced in the game and available for spinning/buying with gems, do they still get their quests when they reach level 5? If not, and the quests are added later, do the quests still get triggered if the skylander has already leveled up beyond 5?

Dark Food Fight didn't give me a level 5 quest, but I didn't have his code - he just sort of appeared for me. As I re-levelled the other two (Food Fight and Jet Vac), neither of them gave me a level 5 quest either, but that could be because I completed them the first time through.

I don't mind so much re-leveling the characters, but the not going into the Dark House is an oversight that should have been fixed. They also need to allow purchases of them up to 8 now instead of limiting them to 5.

I have no problem re leveling Skylanders either . They are a real gem to go back to level one for me .

I don't have any new characters listed. There seems to be confusion, as it looks like there might have been multiple updates. I got the quest, so I know I got a new update, but no new characters. Are they available for spins, or are you guys just seeing them after entering their codes?

I use the Bluetooth portal to get them into the game.

Now that the dust has settled, I have no new characters listed, a timed quest, and Rocky Egg Roll's clear invaders quest is working.

I entered a code for Sure Shot Shroomboom, because I felt like I *should* have a new character with all that were listed - and after temporarily having Dark Food Fight and Full Blast Jet Vac. But now I am hesitant to level him up, because if he isn't officially added, he may not be ready for prime time.

I've still got Dark Food Fight after all the confusion. Didn't enter his code - he just appeared in my list instead of regular Food Fight, then I had to spin to get the regular back.

90% of the time their quests are added in when they are first programmed into the game, whether they're visible or not.

But yes, on the occasions where their quests for whatever reason were missing I've always had those quests pop up later after an update.

Of the 2 accounts I have checked

One account took jet vac back to spin. I used the portal to put him back.

Interesting though, I first tried light core and it wasn't recognised.

Food fight was available to spin. No dark wildfire.

Second account had dark wildfire for spin but no food fight.

Jet vac was OK.

Maybe we should simply wait until next tuesday. I hope they fix that bug then.

I can remember that last year around easter we had the same problme here and it took them like 1 or 2 weeks for solution.

I lost my Jet-Vac too. Contacted Activision and they gave me 500 gems.

I still don't have the ability to purchase or spin for the six newest skylanders. Are all six only accessible by code?
