That a lot of movies nowadays are in 3-D? I don't get it. No offense to all you guys who think 3-D is awsome, but I don't really care for it.

I can list a few.

  • Ice Age: Dawn of the Dinosaurs
  • Monsters Vs. Aliens
  • Coraline
  • and more that my dumb brain cant think of smilie

Ice Age is going 3-D?

Maybe because we're moving to the future. Where technology evolves. Stuff like that.

since they arent doing cartoon animations anymore, there just doing 3-d animation and real people movies, thats just weird

i like original 2-d but for some movies real people and 3-d are big now
its just you dont see 2-d movies that much or any more (the only one i ca thinck of is pokemon right now)

Agreed, 2D was really good, But after the computer took over the animation went downhill. Compare to the classics.

I just seen Monsters Vs. Aliens, It was pretty good. But I tried to explain it to my Co-Workers, their response was close to mine.

"You went to a 3D movie and didn't have the glasses"

The movie looked good, But are all the 3D movies like this? or didn't I actually see it in 3D?

Well, they are planning to make most of the CGI movies with 3D now; personally I find it rather idiotic because it's rushing the standards of how movies need to be done.

I mean, I don't want to have to wind up paying $30 to go see a movie because of all the stuff I have to pay for to see it.

Personally, I don't care since I don't plan to see it in theaters. This film was a bad idea just like rebooting the franchise was...

But hey what is done is done and all I can say is wait till you see Legacy of Ages and then compare fan-made film with the official one.

I will say this...but....


How can you tell when it's on a freakin' TV? Even HD LCD ones?
Sure it's plenty sharper!
(Yes, I've seen Halo 3 on a LCD HDTV on 1080i it looks cool.)
But that's it! That's all it is, is sharper.

And yes, I do remember the "3D Glasses" thing...and that's probably

the only way to actually see
the 3D
on TV

I mean seriously! everything has to be high tecnology these days! There hasn't been a 2D movie out in ages! I actually think that they will make a stupid 3D stickman someday! Why must they do this? I just want them to leave things as they are...smilie

thats true. i saw monsters vs aliens in 3-D, it was quite good. but you do have a choice wether to see it in 3-D or not.

What's so great about seeing something pop up in front of you anyway? What about the storyline? And if I want something to "pop up", I would want it to be 30% action of the screen and 70% music...

3-D's o.k but i prefer to see my films in 2d.
