As Stated above Wave 4 and wave 4.5 will be hitting TRU in United States this Thursday for an Ad they are running.

In addition they also have wave 4 Traps. Each case of these traps have 2 Dark Element Traps and 2 Light Element Traps with 4 Kaos Traps per case.

The wave 4 cases look to have 2 of each of the Light and Dark Element Trap MAsters mixes with 4 ThunderBolt, 4 Short Cut

The Wave 4.5 Cases have 2 of each Light and Dark Element Trap Masters plus several Thunderbolts, Sort cut Blastermind and Tuff Luck

No pictures Sorry but atleast you wont have to wait long for the new Trap Masters.

Does this include cores?

No, new Corelanders at this time

I did not notice any chase figures, but then again I only took a quick look at 2 cases out of the 10 or so cases that had come in.

Is there a copy of the ad somewhere? Is it going to be emailed or posted on the Toys R Us website?

Prob get the cores like the week before Easter or something.

Also the Ads will most likely be sent to Rewards members at some point tomorrow letting them know of the impending arrivals.

Nearest TRU is 65 miles from me. Just what I wanted to do after working all night, go on a road trip. NOT!

You know, I called my TRU yesterday (Tuesday) and the lady said they were getting new ones "tomorrow", so in other words today (wednesday). So hopefully it's corrwct, I'll have to walk an hour to get there. At least all the snow has finally melted.

Great! I was hoping for a Thursday release as it is the one day this week I could go early to stores(besides the weekend)

Called today. They said easter on friday, but nothing of wave 4. And I couldn't find the ad anywhere or an email.

The worst part is that I have to drive an hour early Thursday for Skylanders, then an hour early Friday for amiibo. :D

TRU instagram just posted saying that rocky roll, spotlight, blackout, and thunderbolt will be there tomorrow.

Well I'll be getting Spotlight and Blackout for my girlfriend tomorrow then. Still gotta wait for Knight Mare, Echo, and Hugh Five for her and Short Cut for me. Probably doing split releases, or do you guy think they only put a few of them so they didn't have to list out everyone in the one post?

I say go and cross your fingers. If there's Thunderbolt, there's a decent chance there will be Short Cut too. The person running TRU's instagram page is probably not the holy grail of accurate and complete info.

Yeah. I'll be right there as th doors open. I'm hoping Short Cut is there haha. Been waiting for my Undead Trap Master.

I expect them to be there at my TRU, but I will have to ask someone to go in the back to bring them out. This has happened too many times for me to expect anything else.

So nobody is waiting for a sale on these guys??? $2 TRU markup on Trapmasters, $1 TRU markup on cores, and 50% markup on the Easter trap...that adds up. Personally, I'm waiting until Best Buy gets these in for the 20% GCU discount. I already have Blackout ordered from Bestbuy.com which came out to about 2 for $12 during that sale which was stacking with GCU last month.

Don't forget your $1 coupons from the General Mills cereal promotion. :D

To each, his own. But to be honest, I got over the slightly higher prices at TRU sometime within the past couple of years. In the early and middle part of the Giants cycle, store stock was hit-or-miss regardless of which store one shopped at ... so, at that time, I did not like that TRU charged more than everyone else.
However, more recently, it's very obvious that TRU does a far superior job of acquiring and maintaining a diverse stock, compared to Wal-Mart, Target, Best Buy, and others. No question about that. So, I don't mind the TRU price so much nowadays. It's fine.

A good friend of mine that works there told me that they where getting shipments of the new cores, minis and three pack traps today.

Also Red Hot Tussle Sprout exclusive trap has a hold date till Sun march 29th.
But if you do see one before then in the store it'll go through with no problem, as there not register locked.

I didn't get a chance to look in the boxes, but they are arriving with the other new skylanders so i'm sure that they would be included.

I can confirm that at least some Toys R Us stores have all of wave 4 in stock. None of the figures are register locked, but the boxes do have the hold until 3-19 written on them. I have never seen as many boxes at one time, outside of launch. My local Toys R Us had single packs of Knight Mare, Knight Light, Thunderbolt, and Short Cut. They also had the single packs of Spotlight, Blackout, Rocky Roll, Echo, Bat Spin, and High Five. They had the two new mini packs (Breeze with Pet Vac and Barkley with Whisper Elf). They had the two new trap triple packs, all of the wave four single trap packs, the new Easter variants (Eggcelent Weeruptor, Power Punch Pet Vac, and the Earth Bunny Trap), and a ton of Kaos single trap packs. I know that these are not register locked because I was already able to purchase the six new cores and the two new mini packs. I ran out of time to get the rest because I had to pick up my kids from school, but will be returning to get the two new Trap Masters, the new traps, and the Easter variants.

Yes I have light pack dark to but my kid put knightmare by the trash can and she fell in and they took the trash before we relized

I'm tempted to stop by after work. My TRU has put out things early on occasion.

So if what I am hearing correctly, the stores will have plenty of the new guys? That's fantastic as I'm worried I don't have enough for all of them and may have to skip one or two of them.

I preordered Echo and the easter earth trap from Gamestop last week and I just got an email saying that the easter earth trap shipped! Maybe Wave 4 is coming earlier at all stores!

I can confirm that TRU will have the wave 4 Trapmasters, cores, minis, and traps. At least the TRU I regularly go to has them all, I saw them myself.

My store had 6-7 boxes of cores, but only 2-3 boxes of Trap Masters. The wave 4 traps were already out on the floor...they didn't get the light/dark traps yet though. Already pre-ordered everything on Gamestop, so just picked up some traps and got the minis. Paint jobs on these look very good.

They don't have "plenty", but they have a good amount. Trap Masters, Cores, Traps, Minis and Easter ones. All that and a bag of chips. I wouldn't worry too much because I think the craziness has jumped over the aisle to the Amiibos (which have their own big release day on Friday). They were not register locked (which isn't going to really help anyone right now since most are closed or soon to be closed, but they were fully able to be sold - it pays to be nice to the employees). My son was thrilled because this was the first time he was there when a wave came in since we went by after school. The minis definitely look better than the old Frito Lay ones. We were able to get the cores, Easter ones and Minis (already had the Trap Masters and don't collect Traps).

Funny you said that. I did talk to the store clerk and I asked him flat out is the skylanders stuff dying out...he said "a little bit" and then talked about the Amiibos. According to what he says, that one is basically an all adult market that's buying them. Kinda makes sense, when you consider some of the figures and the timeframes the characters originally served. We also geeked out on Star Wars coming out and the fact that he thinks Infinity with Star Wars is going to go gangbusters. It's not a boring moment in this billion dollar + emerging segment of this new market. Sounds like I need to read the books, they sound much better than the movies.
