Sorry if this is old news, but I just tried entering codes for these guys and were able to unlock them in Lost Islands!

You can use a Bluetooth Portal, or the Traptanium Bluetooth Portal, if you have one

Was news to me, and I just learned I can unlock characters that have a game higher level than the one I am, but no bluetooth on my device. Too bad, I have Bat Spin and High Five.

You don't need bluetooth to unlock characters at higher level than your game, you can use their online code.

I know, but its something I just realized now. Game kept saying required level 26 or something, never thought my link could override that.

just discovered you do not need a bluetooth portal to get high five and bat spin right now, can still just manually link them. Woo hoo!
