Valentine's day is well not great for a gamer girl like me.

Instead of notes they put in your bag it's rubbish. smilie

Not only do I have to go to a ****ty weeding on the 6th,I also have to say stay in some **** azz hotel!!!!!

But thankfully I am not so alone since me and my best friend are going to be each others Valentines for the hell of it.

Thank you. Valentine's Day isn't exactly the easiest holiday for me to handle either. Honestly I'd rather celebrate it single than with someone in a LDR because.. I dunno, it just hurts more, because we can't really celebrate it together like most couples can. There's a painful sense of having something, yet you can't actually have it. Not saying I don't like celebrating it with my bf, but it's really hard and pretty lonely. And it's hard enough every other day of the year..
Same with military couples, although it's probably even harder for them.

Where I live Gamer girl like me are seen as different.

I haven't seen another gamer that's a girl and that like very violent video games.

Boys find me a threat because I will go after there high scores.

The Reason why I brought it into the valentine's day hate thing is because that's why I have you know no one to be my valentine.

I have a question about Valentines Day. Why is it that a person has to show how much they're in love with their significant other on this day? If you truly love someone shouldn't you show them EVERYDAY? Getting flowers for no reason means more then getting flowers on a day that really has no significance on showing your partner that you love them. ^.^

Omfg, thank you! I never understood the concept of showing how much you love your significant other on Valentine's Day because, as you said, you should show that you love them every day.

I mean, yeah I'd still give my bf/gf flowers or something along those lines on Valentine's Day, but it wouldn't be the only day that I would spoil them and show how much I love them.


But the question still remains unanswered. Why is it that most people focus on Valentines Day to show that love?. Sure you could love your partner so much that it hurts, but does that mean you have to show that love on Valentines Day? I dunno, it just doesn't make much sense to focus on one day. To me Valentines Day is just another day, but to some it's the only day to show love. If that is the case, does that person really love their significant other? Think about it, does a day in February have that much power to literally tell you that you must show that love?

I'm sorry to here that, but in my ends, when we on COD for example, and we find out we're being beaten by a gir, if we know that girl IRL, we definetely respect them and I've known guys to simoultaneously ask a gmaer girl out after finding out.
