Yeah Bop is a dragon, because Bash is a dragon. Every element in the first game had a dragon, Bash was the Earth one.

Well he has wings. I think they just called him a bird because he fits in the bird house.

Funny thing about having wings: sunburn, whirlwind are 'birds' but scratch isn't
