Not so weird since stores put out Valentine's products the week after Christmas. They want you to buy him as a Valentine's Day gift, so they put him out early to compete for your money. Thanks for the heads up. That is definitely good information to know. If you ever find out information about the mini variants, please share that as well.

Given his name I'd think it was fairly obvious which holiday he would see his release. It wouldn't surprise me to see Springtime Trigger Happy make a re-appearance for Easter though since there isn't really an Easter variant this year..

It feels less likely to me now that 1/15 is LPPF release. That's tomorrow and we have only one packaging photo. Usually by this point, the day before release, there would be a few on eBay and we would have back room photos of received boxes, etc.

My Toys R Us got Quickdraw Rattle Shake the day of release by Fed Ex around noon. So maybe he isn't delivered yet.

Called my local TRU and they told knew nothing about LPPF. However in fairness to this TRU they do not keep up with skylanders well. I may try later tonight but to make sure.

Nope, TRU WAS supposed to get them in, a friend of mine at a local TRU also had this same date.

Looks like maybe they just didn't come in or something?

My TRU manager did not know about them but did confirm upon looking it up, the go date was 1/15. However, she said they have not showed up in their warehouses.

Checked all my local stores today not named Walmart, nada, not that I was expecting any.

I wonder if the reason that they aren't in stores is because they are having problems getting them because of the strikes going on at the Port of Long Beach.

They also had some trouble getting Pit and Captain Falcon through customs, so it could be a reason for the delay with this one.

For those with Gamers Club Unlocked, he'll be worth the wait to pick up at $8. The 20% off per figure at Best Buy adds up to a large sum to those who chase after all in game variants (and it mathematically beats out the regular TRU BOGO 40% off sales when you factor in their $1 markup on cores).
