Turns out I have "cold induced asthma." I had been having some chest issues for awhile and after doing some research, asthma seemed to be the likely issue, so I went to the doctor and he gave me a prescription for an inhaler that I have to use twice every four hours. I'm not sure how long I'll have to keep using it, I guess it depends on how well it works.
But yeah, fun stuff.

Oh snap, athsma sucks. I've had it for over 9 years. Have you been wheezing recently?

The other day while getting some groceries my mom said she heard me wheezing and breathing really hard, so yeah I guess so.

DAMN how come you didn't go get it checked at Uni? Wouldn't you have a hard time sleeping when you're wheezing anyways?

Did they say you actually have athsma or is it just like a temporary cold?

My breathing doesn't affect me too badly, it's mostly the cough that's a bother, so I didn't think too much about it.

And he said "cold induced asthma," so I'm assuming once the cold weather arrives that's when the coughing/breathing issues happen? I've had the cough for a few years, but the breathing issue just began happening a month or two ago.

Better keep that inhaler on with you at all times. Athsma is a ****ing ***** that can get worse as you get older..

I know.. Hopefully it won't become too big of an issue. I'm actually going to get some x-rays done in a few days to make sure the problem isn't caused by something else.
