FYI...TRU has $20 off 100 this week for Skylanders Trap Team which means you can get the dark starter edition for $80. You might have to get a manager override since you're technically one cent under $100 or you can just buy a trap to push it over $100. If out of stock at your local TRU, the sale is available online as well and it should be free shipping.

The ad says any STT purchase of $100 or more gets $20 off. I would love to get the dark starter for PS3 but our TRU was out of stock yesterday :-(

I'm still holding out for Thanksgiving/black Friday sales, but I may have to just get one of these now. Guess I could always return it.

Actually, if you had a friend getting one too on launch night it did beat it. smilie we went in together for 2 dark editions and got them for $75 each at TRU plus free figures. smilie

Neither of the stores around here got any of the Dark Editions for the PS4 or the One.

Dark Editions are sporadic at best. They're not listed on the Wal-Mart website, but I've been in multiple stores and seen them there. Also, it's a shot in the dark which ones the stores will have. I seen more copies of the Wii and X360 versions.

Actually at TRU at the midnite sale, I got my Dark Edition and when I got home on the receipt it said Dark Edition 74.99 and gave me the 24.99 Legendary nightmare pack free. It came out to 100.00.

Not sure how long it will last, but you can purchase a $100 TRU gift card via EBay (seller GiftCardMall) for only $85 today to net you an additional 15% off.
