I just bought Nitro Krypt King today and I'm slightly irritated that I can't use him. I've had a few Traptanium Shards on my island already that I haven't been able to collect as NKK is the only Trap Master I have. So how long does it normally take them to add W1 Variants.

Just add him and he will come up as Krypt King. You can add him again later when NKK is added.

It's happened before with other variants. I'm pretty sure I did it with Scarlet Ninjini when regular Ninjini was too hard to find.

They've always done it that way with variants. I wouldn't be concerned about it. In fact, it's even better since you'll get 2 for 1.

Yeah, same thing happened with Enchanted Star Strike. She registered as regular Star Strike and when she did become available, you just had to press the button to "Redeem" her and she came in, no cost or code required.
