I had a feeling there would be a gnarly barkley should of been in the 3ds starter pack would of made me keep my preorder

Sadly i can see a re-release of gnarly tree rex for a possible buddy pack...and him not sold seperately i would of prefered volcanic weeruptor but i understand why hes the easter variant

Also, noting your profile pic, it looks like the Enchanted line isn't back. The color change feature was pretty useless, as my Skylanders don't really get outside all that much...

Same i loved the black and white colour scheme though no enchanted enigma smilie but i think il be buying all the minis including variants surprised that so far theres no legendary minis

I love the bottom screen of Pet Vac. The blue one is on the right and the red one is on the left and both are doing an 'Objection!' pose just like Phoenix Wright and Miles Edgeworth.

Hmm. Bit of a mixed bag here I feel.

Love Potion Pop Fizz is a great idea, and I'm surprised he wasn't the first Pop Fizz variant, but, then again, that's ANOTHER toy used up on Pop Fizz, who plays horribly in any game.

The Mini variants are a nice touch, but that gets a bit boring once you realise they play identically to all previous versions of themselves. So knowing that there's now 3 Jet Vac's in this game to pile on top of his 4 other toys, and eruptor adding 2 more to his 5 is just frustrating.

Why is it always the popular characters which have the most boring play styles? Eruptor, Gill Grunt, Pop Fizz and Jet Vac are all guilty of this.

King Cobra Cadabra and Winterfest Lob-Star are lovely though. I just wish we had a few more variants of the new guys.

Neat those variants actually look pretty cool. Here's to hoping they wont be like "go to this store when the moon is perfectly aligned with the planets" jank like some of the giants variants were. Swap Force was pretty good about all the variants but since it seems like they maybe didn't move much to stores, maybe they'll be more careful this time.


Looks like we can say they'll probably have things out for Christmas, Easter and Valentines Day then. Gnarly Barks I could see being an exclusive, same with Power Punch Pets and King Cobra..i'm figuring a Frito-Lay thing.

I wish they didn't make Barkley the only "reused variant." Scarlet Mini Jini would've been awesome.
The seasonal ones are really cute, but Weeruptor doesn't immediately scream "Easter egg," but maybe the toy will be more colorful.

Holy crap! I remember when playable minis were first announced, and I said I would love to see mini variants that mirrored their large counterparts, Gnarly Barkley being one of them. I'm glad I was right about that, I do like the blue coloring on Gnarly Tree Rex.
