almost like they might be unveiling some new companions or hoping that more people having more companions might be helpful for TT. I'd be lying if I wasn't hoping for a returning companion >cough, cough< DIGGS >cough<

I think Midas JUST made it in time, but several people just couldn't make up the coin!

So just for kicks I placed Wildfire on my Bluetooth portal. No luck yet... I am pretty sure they will bring in some TT companions and hopefully some Traptanium objects for the Trap Masters to destroy.

I did just make it when it was a Super Tuesday! I had to play a little more frequently than I usually do but I got it.

My new thought is that we'll see the Trap Team next week (or this weekend) when all these current sales expire.

We still have to get the death sanctum quest . Maybe TT will come after that ?

At this point I'm thinking that quest comes next week and it's a shorter one. There are still nearly 3 weeks in October after this week.

But maybe it has already arrived and I just don't know since I only play in the mornings.

Good luck! It may be possible with CONSTANT play and very maximized topiary bonuses but I would never be able to do that...

at level 41--that's a TON of jumping! and since we have an ipad mini, not very reliable either...

No pain - no gain There is no "Press X to win" button.
On iPad2 time travels worked like a charm a few months ago. Just stay away from wishing well. Everything else is safe to play with.

If you're going to TT, then just TT to get sufficient gold to buy the island at full price. But I highly recommend against it. Both because I still worry that it can corrupt your game, but also because it really is as close to a "press X to win" button as exists in the game (even if it's more of a flaw than a feature). And once you've "won" why bother playing any more?

Excellent point. Lost Islands isn't a challenge, it doesn't really have a way to "win" it other than running out of stuff to get. The whole point of the game is the time investment/distraction - it's the journey, not the destination in this game. If you are in a rush to not play it, just don't play it - my level 45 kingdom is no more interesting than my son's level 30 kingdom, it just has more stuff on it.

midas73, defpally you are absolutely right about using TT in Lost Islands - time travelling might ruin all the fun from the game.
But sometimes, especially when you are a little bit late to something (we all have real life - family/job/school/pick your own poison ) it is nice to know that there is always a "plan B". No one is forcing anyone to use TT in this game. BUGMom05 just asked - any idea how to reach next level very fast in 2 days - there is a way, welcome to the Dark Side, we've been expecting you

Oh yeah, I've considered TT (and buying gems), but I always fall back on the challenge of the goal is succeed within the set parameters, and if I take a shortcut it undermines my whole goal, so I refrain. I've missed out on many things this way (Stump Smash and cheap Flynn due to me splurging on Giant houses recently), but them's the breaks. I don't condemn those that want to peak at new stuff or missed out on something.

I'm also a bit worried about possible bugs related to TT. With some of the issues people have had doing things they want you to do (keep your OS up to date), it's risky to do something they don't want you to do (adjust your clock to get around costs/time limits). Think of the slow response people are getting on the Magic Sanctum restore, now imagine if you have to explain that you were adjusting your clock and something like that happened.

As far a "dark side" I did it a couple times to see how it worked, what it was about--but it was anti-climatic.

As for what I was saying about a mini--you don't set the date, it's a matter of time zones. It's a little too much for me to try to keep in mind where to go and what to collect (or not) I was just trying to lightheartedly say "no thank you"

Although without jumping, I actually DO have enough gold to buy it at full price--now--but I am still not level 42. So now I am still sort of tapping my foot waiting to get the last 8% of level 41 done. I was looking more for some little-known configuration or what the biggest bang for the buck was (build businesses vs houses) or something that might boost me

I seem to remember many posts where just this kind of tedium--nothing to do and a whole lot of time to do it in--was remarked upon.
