A friend of mine who works at TRU got some of the new Trap Team stuff in. I think this is more related to the toys than the game discussion lol













Other details: "the singles are that jug thing in water, the same undead skull, magic skull, Same tech thing, a fire version of tech thing and earth hammer, x2 in each box"

Both traps are the Wave 1 Triple Pack Traps

Nice pics. Yeah, I suspect everyone has the stock now and waiting for 2 more weeks.

I just went to my nearest ToysRUs, and they had a HUGE stack of boxes marked "Trap Team."

By the looks of it, they had a load of the Trap Crystals and a few Triple/Adventure/Trap Master packs (not sure on those). They couldn't open the boxes for me, though.

I was hoping I could go to the TRU across the street from me to hopefully catch a glimpse of the skylanders, (they usually just keep their latest shipment behind the counter there)but I remembered they probably won't want you opening the boxes...

That was all they took and likely everything that they have in right now.

Can we get a shot of the the backs? Possibly the game? If they have the game in we can get a pic of the poster. Please ask your friend this...

Why doesn't the Magic Trap in the single pack, look like the Magic Trap in the triple pack?

Also. I noticed that the Magic Trap in the single appears to be the same shape as the Undead Trap, only a different color.

Umm, because there's supposed to be different shapes of each trap...

Okay, I didn't realize that. Do the different shapes have any effect?

Also got the stock in at my store. The Sidekick packs are pretty cool

They were also filming a commercial in the store as well. Cant wait to see that

But in retrospect, there are minimal issues in getting enough stock for Day One. But there really should be stricter regulations on breaking street dates - it's pretty unfair to break street date just so you can 'envy all of your friends'. There's a reason games have release dates and aren't sold as they get to the stores. Not to mention the risk of leaks meaning the publisher might get everyone into a 'this is why you can't have nice things' situation.

It's a 5 day auction. Wouldn't Activision get involved and have the listing pulled off EBay?

Yeah, that will most likely be the case. It happened already with some other listings that popped up on there, for loose ones (presumably stolen from the factory).

Hah! You'd think with a ridiculous price like that, they'd at least have the common decency to give free shipping.

I have no sympathy for anyone that pays eBay prices for an item that will be widely available on 10/05. Talk about not having any patience whatsoever. Once it releases, the retail price will be standard across all sites, even eBay.

what would you even do with an advance set of those figures?? You'd only be able to play the old one in the pack and sit and stare at the 2 new ones until you get a copy of the game anyways lol!

Because they don't want those figures reviled till the game is out....im sure the poster that is in the Starter packs will have all (or maybe most<eg>...lol) filled in.
Heck for all we know the final poster might look completely different.

That's what I am hoping for, my son has all posters since SSA hanging in his room (not just the character list) and to have 2 different TT versions would be cool.
