Love is unexplainable, but if it can be it would be something like this; love is a feeling beyond what you've imagined. It’s waking up in the morning and thinking of your significant other, it’s that thought right before bed that makes you happy. They make you happy just thinking about them. Love is when you give your EVERYTHING and all. Love is knowing you're risking your heart for that possible love back, it’s much more than us and can very easily overwhelm us, good and bad. It’s something our mediocre self's' want to feel and would do anything just to feel it for a second. Love is overall something beautiful with all it’s flaws.

Love is devotion, kindness, caring, and acceptance of all the pain that comes with those.

Loving someone and being in love with someone are two very different things. But when you truly do love the person you're in love with, life is perfect when they're around, and almost unbearable when they aren't.

Heh, I used to think that. Well towards romantic love. Really I just want someone to truly care about me out of their own choice and to be emotionally intimate with them, anything else is supplementary (fortunately, while I really just want to care and be cared for instead of romance, I still don't mind romance any more, I can be rather romantic myself when I feel like it, mostly to please the person I love most).

Loving someone is wanting them and caring for them no matter how much they may hurt you or break your heart.

Exactly. I can say it back (I'm a fine actor if I say so myself), but it's so hard for it to feel real, though I do know deep down they mean so much to me. I only show outward love really to my pets and one person, who isn't a family member, but whom I have a really, really deep emotional bond with.
