Having only very recently discovered I was even capable of lusting, I still think desire is overrated. It's annoying and it subverts my logic and morality centers, which is extremely unsettling to be aware of.

Anyway, yes, I have no interest in dating either. Demiromantic, so it wasn't until I became extremely emotionally bonded to a certain person (more than I had ever bonded with anyone else), that I even felt any major wish for romance.
But I think you'll find someone. I never shared my problems with anyone, and she never shared hers with anyone either, but me and that certain person I keep mentioning now very often share our problems and talk every day. Honestly I'm quite surprised at how much better I am at being in a relationship than I thought it'd be, it actually comes kinda natural after a point.


You think so? I don't doubt that I'll find someone, I'm just 99% sure that time isn't now. But I'll never know till it happens, right?
And that's sweet. Really awesome that you found a good partner!

Ah ok, well that's good that you're not super obsessed with romance (or worse DOT DOT DOT) like a lot of people in this culture; romance and all that serves to enhance a relationship and make it more enjoyable, but isn't hardly ever a truly valid core for one.
Just remember, you might not know exactly when it happens, you might be unaware it's happened for a time, but there will come a point when you most definitely know :)
