Unusual Stores to Find Skylanders [CLOSED]

I'm currently on vacation and was just wondering if there were any places you found skylanders (not just starter packs) that you wouldn't exactly think of?

I remember TrixMaster finding them in a 7/11 (or AMPM) gas station once.

I saw some marked down at OfficeMax, the other day. Only thing they had was lightcore Drobot, I believe (and a couple of Disney Infinity characters, if anyone was interested).

Stores that sell (but don't necessarily specialize in) used games might have loose figures. In my area we have Second and Charles, Game Swap, and they even had a couple Skylanders in the case at Half Price Books.

I saw some Giants toys at my local BAM not too long ago. 2nd and Charles is great for buying used Skylanders, but they still have all of Wave 1 for SSF on their shelves because they managed to somehow overprice their new toys even worse than TRU! We're talking around $12 for a core figure. Rather sad and somehow not surprising that Wave 1 has done nothing but collect dust on their shelf.

Checkers and Pick n Pay . Two Southern african hypermarkets focusing on groceries and household products . They had a cheap toys section but no Computer/Console games sold SSA toys .

I'd love it if this is true. Did they just start carrying them recently? I haven't been in Five Below in a while, and I never saw any figures there, just other general Skylanders merchandise. I may have to go in again soon though. smilie
