So I've been looking into exalting (not my current dragons though!), and based on http://flightrising.com/main.p...d=746775&page=1 it sounds extremely easy to turn a profit since the cheapest babies seem to be around 7k+ on the AH.

Other than waiting for hatchlings to become adults, is it really that easy?

I'm obsessed with buying dragons. I work hard to get money through games. So I can buy more dragons. I've found some pretty good ones. Like I just bought my first circuit dragon for 7000. I also once got a dragon for 3000. I was lucky.
